“Treasures of Russia” is the first Russian ball in Switzerland, reviving the tradition after a long break. It will bring together people living in Europe who are deeply attuned to the Russian culture. The Charity Ball, organised by the event organisation “Russian Nights in Switzerland” founded by Zlata Smirnova, will be held in Lausanne on October 28, 2017 at the aristocratic hotel Beau Rivage Palace. Within its interiors, where the spirit of world history dwells, live music will be played to celebrate Russian culture and tradition. The program of the Ball will include: opera performances, recitations of fragments of art works, chamber orchestra, a rich dance program and much more!
Honoured Artist of Russia Konstantin Khabensky will read excerpts from Russian classics to set the tone for the dance program, performing with the demonstration group the waltz from the ballet “Nutcracker”. The Ball will be used as a fund-raising platform for his foundation. The Konstantin Khabensky Charitable Foundation, established in 2008, ensures that children with oncological brain diseases promptly receive medical care. The charitable contributions of the guests of the ball and sponsors, as well as the proceeds from the ball auction shall be transferred to the account of the Foundation.
The atmosphere of a classical ball, the participation of stars of Russian artistic world make the Grand Charity Ball in Lausanne a non-trivial event which simply needs to be attended to give the soul a rush of genuine feelings and impressions. See you there!
