DESCRIPTION:The 10th Bürgenstock Winter Festival will take place from 31 January to 4 February 2023 at Villa Honegg and Kaufleuten Zurich (opening concert). The festival will feature the German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott\, whose poetic and soulful playing is falling in love with audiences and critics around the world\, “America’s leading baritone” Thomas Hampson\, the breathtakingly virtuoso accordionist Ksenija Sidorova\, the one and only Avi Avital\, the German violinist Veronika Eberle and the two brothers Adrien (viola) and Christian-Pierre la Marca (cello)\, who not only seduce the French press to superlatives such as “hero of the viola” or “French cello elite”. \nThe artistic directors of the festival\, Andreas Ottensamer (clarinet) and José Gallardo (piano)\, will lead through the concert evenings.

DESCRIPTION:One very special feature of the Baloise Session is the close proximity to the stars and the unique club-like setting with round tables and candlelight. The festival guests get up close to internationally renowned stars that generally play for well over ten thousand people in a concert hall which seats only 1’550 people.
