For the first time, a Swiss luxury watch brand came up with the idea of having its own suite in a hotel. Located at the foot of the Uetliberg mountain region in Zurich, five-star Hotel Atlantis by Giardino is home to the world’s first Hublot Suite 107, which I was happy to have the opportunity to check out. It was interesting to see how it is possible to merge the hotel world with the one of watches, and I was really impressed by the harmonic result.
The Hublot Suite has a master bedroom, two balconies, a living area and a spacy bathroom. Hanging in the living room is a massive chandelier inspired by the Hublot Unico Chronograph, which has a diameter of 1,2 meters and resembles the inner workings of a chronograph watch. The lamps and tables in the suite reflect the classy design of Hublot boutiques. The walls are decorated by several colorful pop art style paintings of watches, and two showcases with beautiful Hublot pieces stand on display in the living room.
The suite was designed by the Swiss architecture company Studioforma. Philippe Frutiger, CEO of the Giardino Group, is proud of this partnership, stating that “Hublot and Giardino combine innovation, quality and low-key luxury.”
I enjoyed my relaxing stay in the suite and would definitely recommend it for watch lovers and those who fancy unique and creative interior design.
