On June 13, the elegant Dolder Grand in Zurich hosted the much-anticipated Luxury Summit 2025, co-organized by Forbes Switzerland and FACES Media Group. Set against the refined backdrop of one of Switzerland’s most iconic venues, the event welcomed a wide range of voices shaping the future of luxury—from seasoned entrepreneurs to cutting-edge researchers and creatives.
Among the many keynote speakers, a standout was Felicitas Morhart, founder of the Swiss Center for Luxury Research, who opened the afternoon with a data-rich talk titled “The State of Luxury in 2025.” Her insights addressed the urgent need for transformation in the industry, touching on themes of identity, authenticity, and cultural relevance.
Another highlight was Farhad Vladi, the world’s most renowned island broker, who offered a rare glimpse into the ultra-exclusive world of private island real estate—where scarcity, emotion, and lifestyle converge.
Health and longevity were also central to the program, with a thought-provoking panel featuring Marc P. Bernegger, Dr. Antoinette Sarasin Gianduzzo, and Dr. Omar Haroon. Their discussion emphasized that “health is the new wealth,” and positioned well-being as a defining element of contemporary luxury.
Closing the speaker program was designer and entrepreneur Philipp Plein, who shared the story behind his global empire. His bold approach to branding and refusal to follow convention served as an inspiring finale to the afternoon.
Following the talks, guests gathered for an apéro and networking session on the panoramic terrace, continuing the conversations in the Dolder Grand’s elegant setting.
The Luxury Summit 2025 demonstrated that the definition of luxury is no longer static. With a growing focus on sustainability, personalization, health, and tech-driven experiences, the industry is undergoing a profound evolution. Events like this bring key players together at just the right moment—to exchange ideas and inspire the next chapter of meaningful luxury.
