Finals’ Day at the 41st Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz was far more than just three matches — it was one of the most glamorous highlights of the Alpine winter calendar. With 26,000 spectators, sold-out grandstands and an impressive 2,400 tonnes of infrastructure installed directly on the frozen Lake St. Moritz, the event once again confirmed its status as the world’s most iconic snow polo tournament.

From the sold-out Gala Dinner at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel to late-night celebrations across the resort, St. Moritz was buzzing with international polo flair. Designer-clad guests, champagne toasts and world-class horses created a unique atmosphere where elite sport met luxury lifestyle — all set against the breathtaking Engadin backdrop.

In major news for the future of the tournament, J. Michael Prince, President and CEO of USPA Global, confirmed a significant four-year commitment to Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz. At the same time, U.S. Polo Assn. was announced as the official apparel supplier until 2030, further strengthening the event’s global positioning.

The Finals’ Day action delivered thrilling polo across all three matches. Azerbaijan – Land of Fire secured the Casablanca Cup with a narrow 5–4 victory over Mackage. In the Subsidiary Final, Investec’s all-Brazilian team edged out St. Moritz – Top of the World in a dramatic 5–4½ win to claim the Mackage Trophy.

The highlight of the weekend was the Final between Flexjet and Standing Rock. In a packed arena and with tensions running high, Most Valuable Player Raul Laplacette proved decisive, converting a crucial penalty and scoring again in the final seconds to secure a spectacular victory for Standing Rock.

With this triumph, Standing Rock were crowned champions of the 41st Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, closing another unforgettable chapter in snow polo history.

Save the date: The 42nd edition will take place on 22, 23 and 24 January 2027.
