Rowing World Lucerne drives an entire sporting genre. Each year finds up to 1,000 of the world’s best oarsmen and women competing in the World Cup Finals on Lake Rot. The lake and its environs provide a natural arena that is unique in the world: a focus of the rowing scene, the area is also used for recreation and as a nature reserve.
