Weather and water temperature permitting, the Seeüberquerung will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Postponement dates are July 9 and August 20.
Weather permitting, up to 9,000 swimmers can swim 1500 metres across lake Zurich from Mythenquai to Tiefenbrunnen in a safe environment. Good swimmers aged 12 and over can take part. Adolescents aged 12 to 15 must always swim accompanied by an adult. Tickets go on sale on the Monday before the lake crossing.
