Mercedes-Benz brought a new dimension of performance and luxury to Zurich with “Chasing Limits”, a high-energy event for the upcoming all-electric Mercedes-Benz CLA. The venue alone set the pulse: the iconic indoor cycling track Radrennbahn Oerlikon, transformed into a futuristic playground where engineering met adrenaline.
With around 350 invited guests — athletes, VIPs, influencers, and Mercedes-Benz clients — the night showcased a unique “human vs. machine” challenge on the steeply banked track. Four top Swiss athletes took part, including decathlete Simon Ehammer and sprinter Sarah Atcho, going head-to-head with the car to test agility, speed and precision.
The star of the evening, the new Mercedes-Benz CLA, delivered a clear message about the evolution of luxury mobility. The vehicle is designed for a new generation of drivers: fully electric, equipped with up to 792 km range (WLTP) and the powerful MB.OS operating system enabling seamless connectivity and over-the-air updates. Before the show, Mercedes-Benz engineers ensured the car could even master the dramatic curves of the velodrome — a successful test that set the stage for an unforgettable reveal.
Throughout the evening, the atmosphere balanced sporty intensity with unmistakable Mercedes-Benz elegance. Guests enjoyed premium hospitality, curated content moments, live entertainment, and the excitement of being among the first to experience the future Mercedes-Benz CLA in action.
With “Chasing Limits”, Mercedes-Benz Switzerland showed that pushing boundaries is not just part of the brand — it is its DNA.
