After a complete three-month transformation, Coco Grill & Bar has reopened just steps away from Zurich’s Paradeplatz. The restaurant, which has been part of the city’s dining scene for 20 years, enters a new chapter with a redesigned interior, expanded kitchen and renewed culinary concept.
The former maritime-inspired look has made way for a darker, warmer atmosphere. Created by designer Raphael Otto, the new setting combines the character of a Buenos Aires parrilla with Parisian glamour, the elegance of London’s Savile Row and the feeling of an art gallery.
At the heart of the restaurant is its open kitchen and a strong focus on charcoal grilling. The menu includes Swiss Wagyu beef shank, duck breast à l’Orange, loup de mer, ratatouille kebab and baby beetroot. The kitchen is led by Michele Agricola, who previously worked at Zurich’s former Restaurant Heugümper.
Beyond the main restaurant, Coco features the Salon Rouge, a bar, two wine cellars and, during the warmer months, its secluded garden terrace. The result is a refreshed Coco that preserves its intimate character while bringing a new sense of contemporary glamour to the heart of Zurich.
