ZFF provides a platform for the most promising international filmmakers since 2005.
The 11th International Film Music Competition will take place during the 19th Zurich Film Festival (28 September – 8 October 2023) and is organised by Zurich Film Festival, Tonhalle-Gesellschaft Zürich AG, and Forum Filmmusik. Participants are invited to score the 7‑minute short film AU REVOIR JÉRÔME! by Chloé Farr, Gabrielle Selnet und Adam Sillard for symphony orchestra.

For its 29th edition, the GIFF is proud to present a selection of today's production that celebrates all its richness and diversity. This new edition will highlight contemporary audiovisual cultures through a multitude of films, series and immersive experiences that will electrify the festival.

Thousands of film fans and industry professionals meet here every summer to share their thirst for new discoveries and a passion for cinema in all its diversity. In Locarno they find a quality program, rich, eclectic, surprising, and where emerging talent rubs shoulders with prestigious guests.
Admission, bar and food from 6 pm. The films start at dusk at around 9 pm. There will be a short break in the middle. The films are shown in the original language with German subtitles.
