For four days, Gstaad once again became the stage for world-class polo, elegant hospitality and unmistakable Alpine glamour as the Hublot Polo Gold Cup Gstaad 2026 returned to its spectacular field beside Gstaad Airport.

Four teams – Albinati Aeronautics, Kielder Agro Group, Hublot and Gstaad Palace – competed for the prestigious Gold Cup, bringing some of the finest polo talent to the Saanenland.

The grand finale belonged to Swiss brothers Fabio and Luca Meier. Playing for Albinati Aeronautics, they defeated Kielder Agro Group 8–7 in a thrilling match and finally lifted the trophy after four appearances in the final.

Argentine professional Adrian Laplacette was another star of the tournament, taking home the title of Best Professional Player and finishing as leading scorer with 17 goals. His horse Ombucito El Padrino was named Best Playing Pony, while Kielder’s Juan Pepa received the Best Amateur Player award.

But Gstaad polo is about much more than the action on the field. Between exciting chukkers, the event brought together an international crowd for stylish VIP lunches, celebrations and the traditional team parade through the village. Prestigious partners, including Aston Martin, added another touch of luxury to the weekend.

Beautiful horses, sleek cars, summer sunshine and the green peaks of the Swiss Alps created an effortlessly glamorous backdrop — making the Gold Cup as much a highlight of Gstaad’s social calendar as a major sporting event.

The tournament returns 19–22 August 2027 for a special milestone: its 30th edition.
