On September 1, 2025, the 13th edition of Mode Suisse & Friends transformed the Kunsthaus Zürich into a vibrant stage for contemporary fashion, creativity, and cultural exchange. With 22 participating labels, including 13 exciting newcomers, the event once again confirmed its role as Switzerland’s most inspiring and diverse fashion platform.
The runway shows, staged in the Pfistersaal usually reserved for art exhibitions, brought together an impressive mix of established designers and fresh talents. Highlights included NINA YUUN with her signature calm silhouettes, Amorphose presenting surrealist couture with an avant-garde edge, Anastasia Bull showcasing opulent pleats and statement jewelry, and newcomer TRABELSI, who drew inspiration from Tunisian florals and women. The evening demonstrated not only the breadth of Swiss design but also its deep cultural resonance.
Sustainability also took center stage, with studio remo honored as the winner of the Miele x Mode Suisse Award for Positive Impact 2025. The label impressed the jury with its dedication to ecological responsibility, presenting a small-batch collection crafted in Switzerland from natural fibers, including locally sourced wool.
The atmosphere of the evening was elevated by live performances from Gael Faure, Jono McCleery, and Bit-Tuner, whose immersive sounds created a multisensory experience that perfectly complemented the collections. Beyond the runway, the showroom spaces of the Kunsthaus featured further presentations, a lively get-together, and curated exhibitions such as “Susanne Bartsch – Transformation!” and Rafael Kouto’s Circular Heroes.
With its blend of visionary design, sustainability, and artistic collaborations, Mode Suisse & Friends 2025 once again proved to be one of Switzerland’s most forward-looking fashion events. It was a night that celebrated style as much as it did the power of fashion to inspire cultural dialogue and innovation.
