Watches and Wonders 2026

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 once again confirmed the city’s status as the world capital of watchmaking, delivering a record-breaking edition that went far beyond a traditional industry event.

Welcoming nearly 60,000 visitors, along with over 1,700 journalists and thousands of retailers and industry professionals, the salon reached an unprecedented global audience of close to one billion people. More than ever, it positioned itself as a cultural platform where innovation, craftsmanship and emotion come together.

This year’s edition focused strongly on experience. Interactive spaces, live demonstrations and the Watchmaking Village offered an immersive insight into the world of horology, while dedicated programs attracted a younger audience, highlighting the future of the industry.

The timepieces themselves reflected a refined return to watchmaking fundamentals — elegant two- and three-hand models, ultra-thin designs, skeleton movements and vintage influences, often in more compact, gender-neutral proportions. Colour played a key role, while technical highlights such as chronographs, perpetual calendars and tourbillons remained central.

Beyond the exhibition halls, Geneva transformed into a vibrant extension of the event. A city-wide program, including sold-out concerts at the Montreux Jazz Club, brought a fresh cultural dimension, while boutiques and pop-ups created a dynamic atmosphere throughout the week.

Blending heritage with innovation and opening its doors to a broader audience, Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 once again set the tone for the future of luxury watchmaking.
