5 Top Coffee Shops & Cafés in Zürich

Zürich is home to plenty of fantastic places to grab a coffee. From boutique to unique, here are my top 5 favorite Zürich coffee spots!

  1. ViCAFE

ViCAFE is a small chain of takeaway coffee shops – so-called espresso bars – in and around central Zürich. Locations include Münsterhof (outdoor seating), Bellevue, Bahnhofstrasse (main station), Europaalle, and Central. The chain also features a location in the old town: Le Café enSoie – a small, cozy café right up the stairs from the boutique of the Swiss fashion label, enSoie.

The company works closely with producers and partners to make sure their coffee is grown in a sustainable way. The ViCAFE roastery is located in Altstetten, Zürich. Creamy latte, cappuccino, espresso – or, in summer, iced coffee – ViCAFE has us covered!

  1. La Stanza and Bar 45

La Stanza on Bleicherweg 10 – right next to the Paradeplatz and Bar 45 on the Bahnhofstrasse – belongs to the same company that spoils Zürich with really good coffee in the heart of the busy Zürich city center. Featuring indoor and outdoor seating, , their iced latte is not to be missed in summer – it is one of the best in the city!
