Cooking with Zoe Torinesi – Parmigiano Reggiano

Zoe Torinesi, a Swiss TV presenter and passionate food blogger organized a cooking course with one main ingredient – Parmigiano Reggiano.

Parmigiano Reggiano representative Simone Ficarelli came from Parma to talk about the cheese and its varieties, (we tried 3 and 5 year old Parmigiano) which can be defined by the number of white dots, a fact that was new to me.
Food bloggers and media guests all cooked together in the beautiful Wiedikon kitchen-studio in Zurich. It was great fun and tasted heavenly. Here are dishes we cooked:
·             Parmigiano Reggiano, rocket and pear salad
·             Steak and Parmesan Risotto
·             Dessert also included cheese and it was a delicious Parmigiano mousse with caramelised figs
