ONYX Bar of Senses by Dior x Moët & Chandon

The Maisons Christian Dior and Moët & Chandon for the first time united their savoir-faire and created a new temporary concept, which is dedicated to complete olfactory pleasure:
The ONYX Bar of Senses in collaboration with the Park Hyatt Zurich.

It’s a great premiere: Maisons Christian Dior and Moët & Chandon are combining their expertise as perfumers and cellar masters to offer cocktail lovers an exclusive and individually prepared selection in the prestigious ONYX Bar at the Park Hyatt Zurich five-star hotel from October 22 to November 28, 2020.

Hercules Tsibis, Bar Manager and Master Mixologist of the ONYX Bar at Park Hyatt Zurich, developed six Signature Cocktails inspired by the exclusive scents of the Maison Christian Dior in perfect balance with the aromas of Moët & Chandon Champagne Impérial Brut and Rosé. With the creative freedom of both houses, Hercules and his team created six “essences” that allow for a more intense version of the cocktails based on the principle of culinary reduction.

Mixed with Moët & Chandon champagne, these “Essences” offer a journey of taste discovery in the purest form of content: “La Colle Noire”, “Rouge Trafalgar”, “Bois d’Argent”, “Gris Dior”, “Spice Blend” and “Rose Kabuki”: six emblematic creations from Maison Christian Dior, chosen for their olfactory diversity, six names for 12 different creations that appeal to all the senses. For each Signature Cocktail, the menu offers two separate variations: a cocktail and an “Essence”.

The Menu:
Cocktail, accompanied by amuse-bouche and miniature CHF 28.50
“Essence”, accompanied by amuse-bouche and miniature CHF 19.50
