In the picturesque canton of Appenzell, full of cows, lamas, bison and other cute animals that one can meet just everywhere, I discovered a very scenic place – Seealpsee lake. The lake is surrounded by the Appenzell Alps and forest from one side and can be reached by foot from the town Ebenlap.
After a one hour light hike it is was so peaceful to sit at the lake and admire the beauty of Swiss nature!
Just at the lake there is a typical Swiss restaurant with national cuisine called Berggasthaus Forelle with a big terrace that allows one to enjoy the food and the view on the lake at the same time.
It was a very pleasurable excursion so I decided to share my experience and the photos of course!
