Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024

The 2024 edition of the world-renowned trade show of the international watch and jewelry industry – Watches and Wonders, Geneva – was a great success. The event attracted over 49,000 visitors throughout the course of the week.

Among them were 5,700 retailers and 1,500 journalists, all eager to explore the latest offerings from the 54 watchmaking brands showcased across two levels this year. The program of activities available to the public – including product presentations, guided tours, and workshops – reached full capacity prior to the event’s opening day.

Among attending celebrities this year were the supermodel Gisele Bündchen, the tennis champion Coco Gauff, and soccer superstar Kylian Mbappé. Most significantly, there’s a growing interest in the event among the younger generation, as evidenced by the participation of numerous schools and strong attendance from students.

Watches and Wonders Geneva has already established the trends for the year, starting with a shift towards classic and unisex proportions alongside the emergence of vibrant colors and the adoption of interchangeable bracelets. Grand complications remain a focal point, while the incorporation of Métiers d’art showcases the fusion of watchmaking precision and artistic craftsmanship.
